Mother’s Choice Baby Car Seats

Mother’s Choice is an Australian brand that makes high quality nursery products that mothers can rely on. Ensuring your baby is secure and safe safely in your vehicle is critical so you want to purchase a car seat that is going to offer the protection and security that you need. Mother’s Choice baby car seats are suitable for babies and toddlers, while booster seats are for older children. Available to purchase are a range of Mother’s Choice car seat accessories, such as locking clips or safety harnesses.

Australian Car Seat Law

Before purchasing a car seat, it is important to understand the Australian Law on car seats so you can ensure that you are complying with the regulations to keep your baby or child safe. Babies up to 6 months must be in a rearward-facing convertible car seat or infant capsule, then from 6 months to 4 years old your child should be in forward facing or rearward facing seat like a child safety seat. When your child is four years to seven years old, they need a forward facing car seat or booster seat with a seatbelt or child safety harness. Children from seven to 16 years must use a fastened seatbelt or a booster seat.

Convertible Car Seats

Convertible car seats are ideal for your baby from newborn as many have a removable infant insert. They can also sit rearward and forward facing so they are able to transport your child until they are four years of age. The Mother’s Choice convertible car seat range includes the Serenity, Celestial, Nest and Cherish II.

Convertible Booster Seats

Mother’s Choice convertible booster seats have forward facing car seats for older babies and toddlers and then you can use it as booster seat until your child is approximately 8 years old. Choose from the Joy, Tempo and Flair models.

Booster Seats

Mother’s Choice booster seats are suitable for children four years and up and have either a five or six position adjustable headrest with a narrow design. Booster seats lift your child up so they are at a suitable height to use a seatbelt safely.
