Understated Aesthetics: New Balance 990v6 Made in USA x Carhartt WIP Low Sculpture Centre

The New Balance 990v6 MADE in USA x Carhartt WIP Low Sculpture Centre is the reunion of both brands post working together on their first project back in 2022. Called the Sculpture Centre, the collection is modelled around functionality of design and it emphasizes on no-frills, no-shortcuts philosophy that permeates these facilities. Taking influence from local gyms, the 990v6 sneakers incorporate technology that can be ideal for strenuous activities. It has a dark grey mesh upper with brown nubuck and pigskin suede overlays. The sneaker's mesh and suede materials are dressed in a colour scheme that is reminiscent of the American institution's workwear. It is equipped with New Balance's ENCAP midsole, that is made of resilient polyurethane rim. Additionally, its springy FuelCell foam promotes an easy stride. The Carhartt WIP tag adds some light to the tongue, and the reflective ‘N’ logo offers night visibility. Their inside lining, co-branded insole, and reflective 'N' logo are all highlighted in contrasting green hues.
