Nintendo Switch Video Games
Starting with the Nintendo Game & Watch in the early 1980s, Nintendo has been a leading provider of handheld video game consoles for more than 30 years. Starting with the Game Boy, the company has progressed to the Nintendo Switch, which is a dual-purpose gaming console that can be used like a home video game console or take on the go.

Debuting worldwide in 2017, the Nintendo Switch is a dual-use or hybrid video game console that connects to a docking station and works with a television or can be removed from the docking station and placed on a flat surface that players gather around to see the action on-screen. Wireless controllers, called joy-con controllers, work with the console. They can also be attached to the sides of the console to provide handheld playing options. It also works with traditional-style controllers.
