Novarossi RC Gas and Nitro Engines
High-end radio-controlled vehicles are the ultimate toys for adults. Novarossi is an Italian manufacturer of miniaturised RC model vehicle gas and nitro engines and engine parts.
HistoryNovarossi was founded in 1984 by veteran RC vehicle modder Cesare Rossi and his wife Graziosa, producing around 60,000 engines a year and a lot of championship for racers using Novarossi products. Novarossi, or Novarossi World to give it its full name, was originally founded as Nova Rossi, and you may still find people referring to it by that name.
ProductsNovarossi specialises first and foremost in nitro engines, which provide a boost to speed and power for any vehicle they’re installed in. These engines are purpose built for different types of RC vehicles. Boat engines are made for the specific, damp conditions they’ll find themselves in, plane and helicopter engines are made lightweight to increase lift and decrease fuel consumption, and the engines for cars and other land vehicles are robust to deal with jarring and bumping. On top of that, Novarossi produces a range of engine components that can be used to boost any vehicle, such as Novarossi RC exhaust and fuel systems, glow plugs, tuned pipes and more.
