OFF!-White Athletic Shoes for Men

Make An Impact With Off!-White

The brand, Off!-White features a range of fashion streetwear that is much sought after by anyone looking to make a statement with what they wear. This includes both Off!-White sneakers and other Off!-White shoes.

How it started

The brand was founded by Virgil Abloh in 2013 and is based in Milan. Since opening, Off!-White has established a number of showrooms around the world. Abloh has a masters degree in architecture but turned his hand to fashion designing with his first brand of streetwear called ‘Pyrex Vision’. However, he later scrapped this company after facing a lot of controversies.

His idea behind Off!-White was to create a brand that merges streetwear with high fashion. The name ‘Off!-White’ refers to the colour zone that stands between black and white.

Signature features of Off!-White sneakers

The most prominent feature of Off!-White sneakers is the reiteration of the brand’s logo, which consists of diagonal zebra stripes. Therefore, you’ll find zebra stripes on most Off!-White sneakers and shoes in one form or another.

Another feature that is common to the brand is wording in quotation marks. You’ll often find “shoelaces” printed on the actual laces or “foam” printed on the soles of some sneakers. You’ll even find Nike sneakers with the Off!-White branding and the word “Air” printed on the sole.

In fact, Virgil Abloh collaborated with Nike back in 2017 to create a range of Off!-White branded sneakers. These included Nike Air Jordan 1, Nike Air Max 90, Nike Air Force 1, Nike Air VaporMax and Nike Zoom Vaporfly, as well as a few others.

Another interesting feature on some of these Off!-White sneakers is that the Nike address is printed on the upper and clearly visible. Ranges sporting this design element include the Air Max 90 and the Nike Air VaporMax.

Other styles, like the Nike Blazer Mid, feature blank orange ‘price’ labels that are stitched into the upper. Plus, these sport a zip-tied plastic label that is supposed to remain on the shoe while wearing it. Check out the full range on eBay.
