Start off your collection of militaria

If you're an avid collector of military collectibles there's a cracking selection of militaria available on eBay. Choose from a variety of ornamental and practical pieces, from medals and badges to uniforms.

Different types of militaria to enhance a display collection

Create a statement display with a warrior helmet. These full adult size, handmade helmets are typically made of 18 gauge solid steel, with a copper antique finish, and are fully wearable. Choose from a range of styles including the plumed King Spartan Greek warrior helmet from the movie 300, and horned Viking helmets that are lined for comfort. You can display the helmet on the supplied stand or wear it with pride.

Other militaria ornaments that are ideal for centrepiece display include elaborately detailed replica models of 18th-century Flintlock 15 inch pistols. This realistic model is adorned with brass detailing and is presented on a stand for desktop decoration. Wall mounted 28 inch hunting rifles are larger, alternative option.

Militaria collectibles from battle include the original 1796 Napoleonic war sabre and scabbard. The curved sword has a metal covered wooden handle and is supplied with a protective cover. For something more compact, go with the smaller US M7 bayonet.

General service medals are available in a wide selection of designs. Popular militaria includes genuine Indian general service medals awarded by King George VI and Queen Victoria. Delhi Durbar medals commemorating King George V's coronation are also available. Service medal coins with the ribbon are an alternative option.

Australian militaria includes signal corps collar badges. Choose from a selection of blackened brass collar badge decorated with the king's crown, from WWI and WWII.

If you're looking for something a little more unusual, choose vintage Australian army letterhead printing blocks that are supplied in an assortment. The wooden printers blocks feature zinc alloy plates that are embellished with the Rising Sun and other militaria emblems.
