Saab cars are no longer in production, though NEVS, the company that bought over continues making cars under Saab's 9-3 technology. That being said, used Saab cars are still available, and many buyers still seek them, charmed by the brand's elegant yet functionally impressive cars. There were many models that were released by Saab, but several are true favourites for car lovers everywhere.

Saab 900

The Saab 900 was Saab's bestselling car, with over 900,000 units sold. The 900 sold in two generations, namely the "classic" and "new generation" models. This car model is available in both sedan, hatchback, and convertible configurations, equipped with turbocharged engines, and dual option Zenith carburettors. The Saab 900 NG (new generation) is the predecessor of the Saab 9-3.

Saab 9-3

The Saab 9-3 is the main model among sedan Saab cars that the most energy and effort was invested into, with two generations of cars in which various models were released on an annual basis. The first generation cars were available in the form of a hatchback or a convertible, while the second generation was available in the convertible, sedan, and station wagon forms. This transverse front engine, front wheel drive range used the GM2900 platform for its first generation, but switched to the GM Epsilon for the second.

Saab 9-5

Similar to the 9-3, the Saab 9-5 is an executive car that had two generations, was a transverse front engine, front wheel car and was available in sedan and station wagon forms. However, the 9-5 lacks a convertible option. The 9-5 was generally bigger than the 9-3, and had engines with better horsepower. The model with the top specifications from the 9-5 range is the Aero model, which first released in the year 2000.

Saab 9000

The Saab 9000 was Saab's first entry into the executive car scene, served as a predecessor for the 9-5, and was in production from 1984 to 1998. The car is available in 4-door saloon or 5-door liftback forms, and it uses the Type Four platform. The Saab 9000 is available with 4-speed automatic transmission or 5-speed F25 manual transmission.
