Medical Scrubs

Whether you're a nurse, surgeon, midwife, vet, or other hospital or medical worker, you'll likely want to keep your regular clothing well away from the infectious agents and other contaminants you come into contact with every day. Nurse scrubs are super easy to clean, cheap to replace, comfortable to wear, and a great way to identify yourself as a member of staff.

Medical scrubs make it easy to identify when you've been splashed or contaminated with body fluids or other stains. They can withstand the cleaning of harsh chemicals and heat, which can mean they are cleaner than regular clothes. Depending on where you work, you may be required to wear a particular colour, a solid colour, or you may be allowed to wear patterns. Always check the guidelines with your management before purchasing a set of nurse scrubs. Sometimes your scrubs will be cleaned by your workplace, meaning that you don't have to contaminate your own washing machine and your scrubs will likely end up cleaner than had you washed them yourself.

Make sure that your scrubs have lots of pocket space to carry around your stethoscope, other tools, and medical equipment. A drawstring on the waist will help ensure a close fit, as will an elasticized waist. A boot cut fit to the pants will ensure a choice in shoes. There is generally no stretch to the material used for medical scrubs, so always double check whether the measurements provided are for the size of the scrubs (in which case, you'll want to allow 13 to 15cm of extra space between the dimensions of your body to the garment's measurements for a comfortable fit) or if the measurements provided are for the dimensions of your body (in which case, you should match your measurements as closely as possible). Medical scrubs are usually unisex, made in polyester / cotton blend, and some even come with additional embroidery. Whatever the scrubs that you're looking for, you're sure to find them here on eBay.
