Can't I Just Use a Regular Backpack?
Because of the size of fins, it's important to have a bag that is big enough to hold them and a normal backpack will not be big enough. You are likely to have other scuba diving accessories that are bulky and heavy so a strong dedicated gear bag is essential. Regular bags may not use a strong material and also could wear out quickly. It's a good idea to have a strong and durable waterproof bag that is not going to fall apart from the effects of salt water.
