Tallboy Dressers & Chests of Drawers

Tallboys of Drawers

Choosing the right bedroom furniture is one of the most important decisions you will make when decorating your home. There are so many shapes and sizes of dressers and chests of drawers, that it can be hard to know what is going to look good and what is going to comfortably store all your clothes and belongings. Tallboy bedroom dressers are great pieces of bedroom furniture that are taller than they are wide, fitting comfortably into your bedroom, with many different drawer options and finishes available.

No matter what your home decorating style is, there is a variety of tallboy dressers to suit everyone’s tastes. Most common are the range of wooden tallboys, made from solid timber or pine and finished either with a polish or left with a natural look. Dressers are also available in a white painted finish. Solid wood tallboys tend to be in a higher price bracket, so a more budget friendly option would be to look at a wood finish instead. For something a little more unique, you can find a tallboy made from etched nickel silver, or one that is fully mirrored.

Space Saving

Tallboys are built to be high rather than wide, so they are ideal for those that have a smaller bedroom or a narrower wall space.

Storage Use

Tallboys generally have 4 or more drawers, with some models having between 3 and 6 larger drawers with some smaller drawers at the top. Use the larger drawers to store t-shirts, jumpers, and other larger clothing items and then use the smaller drawers for smaller items such as underwear, socks, jewellery or make up. .

Tallboy Care

To keep your tallboy looking clean and new, dust regularly and wipe down with a product that is suitable for the finish. Wooden furniture requires a different kind of cleaning product than what you would use for metal or mirror finishes, so ensure to read the manufacturer’s recommendations or do your own research to find the best way to care for your tallboy.
