The one and only Umbro is the world standard when it comes to soccer and sports clothing.
If you have ever played football, or soccer as we call it in Australia, odds are you've been wearing Umbro clothing or using Umbro equipment. Originally from England, Umbro is now in over 90 countries and designs, sources, and markets football-related apparel, footwear, and equipment.
Barely out of his teens way back in 1924, Designer Harold Humphreys started his sportswear company, Umbro. Starting small, his first major football kit was made for Manchester City in 1934, a kit they won the FA Cup in. By 1966 over 85% of all British clubs were wearing Umbro uniforms. In the Fifa World Cup, 15 of the 16 teams were wearing Umbro, the only exception being the USSR.
Through all these years Umbro has remained true to its football heritage. They continue to introduce innovative football boots and designs incorporating the latest technology and adapting for fashion trends.
For the true football player, whether it's a serious game or a side kick-around, the range of Umbro boots, shoes and clothing is as part of the game as oranges at halftime.
