May The Force Be With You When You Wear Adidas Star Wars
In 2020, Adidas launched a range of Star Wars sneakers to commemorate the 40th anniversary of Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back. The range included a total of 10 themed styles and is aimed at both Star Wars fans and collectors.
Different styles
Here’s a rundown of each style.
- Adidas Stan Smith Luke Skywalker: This was the first release and it’s comparative to a tennis shoe. It features a white canvas upper with blue accents and a translucent blue sole.
- Adidas Top Ten Hi Boba Fett: This green high top features some red detailing and a charcoal sole. The lace eyelets are yellow and have white laces. The tongue is powder blue. The shoe also has holes in the upper for extra breathability. To finish it off, Adidas added a tan ‘pouch’ to the outside of the shoe.
- Adidas Ultra Boost Yoda: The classic running shoe styling of this sneaker features a Primeknit upper in a motley brown. It has darker brown accents atop a dark brown sole. There are also some minor accents of bright green.
- Adidas NMD_R1 Stormtrooper: This is another classic running shoe with a Primeknit upper in white with black flecks. There’s also some blue stripes around the heel on the white and black sole.
- Adidas Ultra Boost Princess Leia: Another classic running shoe with a breathable white knit upper and a responsive Boost midsole. The soles are also white but the under sole is black. Like all these styles, there’s a detailed graphic stitched onto the tongue.
- Adidas NMD_R1 Lando Calrissian: This is a casual sneaker in black and white. It features a mesh upper in black and white with black overlays. There’s also some gold detailing and white sash-type heel tab.
- Adidas ZX 2K Boost Han Solo: A classic black sneaker with black TPU overlays. The sole is black and white and there’s a white overlay around the heel. To finish it off, Adidas added a ‘blaster buckle’ over the laces.
- Adidas Top Ten C-3PO: This is a gold high top basketball-inspired sneaker with a white and tan sole, some black detailing and white laces.
- Adidas Superstar Darth Vader: This is an all black round toe sneaker with red detailing around the heel and in the graphic on the tongue. On the toe cap, there’s a moulding of Darth Vader’s helmet.
- Adidas Rivalry Hi Chewbacca: A high top sneaker with a tan suede upper with an Off!-White sole. Plastered all over the upper are pieces of faux fur.
