What is the policy?
Pesticide products are not allowed on eBay if they are:
- Unregistered, misbranded or restricted-use pesticides under provincial or country government regulations
- Suspended, cancelled or banned by federal or state government agencies
- Located outside Australia
- Unbranded
- Repackaged or in previously opened packaging
- Ineligible for shipment through standard shipping providers
Examples of not allowed items include:
- Diazinon
- Dursban 50 W
- Frontline and Advantage flea and tick medications that are purchased in another country and shipped to Australia
For items that are allowed, the buyer must be eligible to purchase the pesticide under applicable law.
Activity on eBay is required to follow this policy, the eBay User Agreement and all applicable laws, as well as respect the rights of third parties. If it doesn't, eBay may take action consistent with applicable laws and the eBay User Agreement, and may even be legally required to do so. Such actions may include, as an example only: Removing the listing or other content, issuing a warning, restricting activity or account suspension.
