Good length, strong DP clasps with gold plating on both connectors for good signal quality. HDMI would presumably be v1.3 as DP doesn't support ethernet.

Worked fine for a few months, then the flickering started. Every now and then the screen using this cable would go black, then come back a few seconds later, making all 3 of my monitors flicker. Sometimes it would go in a loop, as if they were fighting each other, making everything unuseable. I went crazy trying to figure this out; Replacing my graphics card with a friend's, trying out different monitors, changing modes and settings. Eventually I borrowed a better DP to HDMI cable from a friend, and the flickering stopped. I'd stay away from this particular generic cable, and spend a bit more money so you're not buying another one in a few months time.

I tried to use this cable with my media player project. The picture quality is good, but i had no sound. I think that was a hardware problem and not a cable problem. overall the cable is well made. I was using it at 720p, so i don't know what it's like at 1080p.

Good cable. Working well. Locks in firmly into my laptop. Doesn't have the high-frequency noise reducer attached at the end of each cable which is usually seen in the more expensive cables. But hey, with this price, it is a steal and it does the job very well.

Cable doesn't work. The objective was to connect an external monitor with a DP to the HDMI port on the computer. It's maybe a 1-way cable only but this wasn't advertised
