I bought two of these to keep the batteries of two garaged vehicles in working order. They work perfectly with no overcharging. As a 4WD camper I trialed them on charging some camping light batteries. They surprised me in getting up to 15Volts in direct sunlight, and charges the camping light batteries very quickly. This left my main solar power to charge the primary camping battery to run the fridge. These are great power reserves for both the garage and isolated camping.

The unit seems to be a good charger and is so far working well. The way the leads are attached to the clips is disappointing in that the wire is just wound on and comes off with just little pull. The leads should be soldered on to make a good contact. While the unit is simple to use, I do believe tat there should be an instruction sheet with it. For example can you make use of the battery that you are charging while the unit is connected?

You probably couldn't get a better device to maintain batteries that don't get used regularly. The only issue is the wire connection to the alligator clips is very poor, the wire has just been wrapped around the clamp. Very easy to fix, just a squeeze in the right spot with a pair of long nose pliers and it's all good.

Great little charger for keeping the boat battery in good condition between uses. It is easy to set up and is maintenance free. The connection between the leads and the battery clips could benefit from crimping or soldering. It comes with the wires loosely wrapped around the clips. However this is easy to remedy.
