the item description says:"The points on the staples are sharp enough to pierce commercial ground cloth,". I purchased over 1,000 of these staples, and I would estimate close to 10% of these have no point at all. The lack of sharp points makes these staples worthless because as soon as you hit them they fail to penetrate, then bend. they cannot penetrate ground cloth without bending. the cost of these 10% defects is insignificant; the real problem is is having them fail during job installation
