It represents a cheaper solution to a problem and without the risk of ending up with the wrong size. In appearance and feel it is also much closer to original gaskets which I am replacing. In other words, I couldn't be more pleased with the purchase.

The intention is to use hollow leather punches to cut disks of the correct outer diameter and then a smaller punch to make the central hole. The sheet seems to be of good quality and though I bought the 1.50mm thickness, I may have to order another of 1mm thickness for one of the bottles.
