    versitile and a blessing when needed.

    This will be a great tool in my tooling arsenal. This will sometimes fit in areas where regular magnetic base won't fit and has many points of attachment for indicators, shafts etc. This will be handy for indicating, staging and quick holding set ups. The quick release makes it much easier for detachment of the magnet but, can be removed easily if it is in the way. This price was the best that I found.

    Decent product

    This item was 'Made In The USA, and I would like to be more proud of it, but the fine details were overlooked in the manufacture of this item. The threaded holes were not completely threaded and the reamed holes had burrs left from the threading process. Also, there is a shoulder screw that holds the release lever to the body that is intended to allow the release lever to rotate. However, either the shoulder screw or the release lever is dimensioned incorrectly because the shoulder screw prevents the lever from turning when it is tightened.
