Great value. Quite heavy, but well-balanced when attached to my a6300/55-210mm equipment and you need this much glass to fulfill these two wishes: - No light loss, same stops as without this tele extender. - No vignetting. The resulting sharpness is good but could still be better. I determined this by taking shots with a tripod and delayed shutter, then compared photos with and without this tele extender. At the same size on the screen, the ones with extender should show nearly twice the detail at 1.7X magnification, right? Not quite. Exact measurements later- this is just my first impression. In any case, I managed to take satisfactory shots of eagles in flight at 1/1500s to 1/4000s shutter speed and about 800-2000 ISO on a cloudy day. Works for me!

A very nice optic! Its heavy so be careful when threading it on not to cross-thread. Optical quality is very good. My particular sample had a very small dent in the shade and I bought it for pennies on the $! When using with my Canon camcorder, there is slight vignetting at the lowest magnification, but if you are interested in this lens, you probably aren't using it at minimum magnification.

Great product, heavy for s mirrorless but gives me a great 1.7x zoom to my Sony OSS 55-210 lens. Had to buy a 49-58mm step-up ring to start using.
