Absolutely brilliant
This is a fantastic bit of kit. I had totally rounded of brake caliper bleeder that needed replacing. My normal sockets for removing rounded bolts couldn't grip the head of the bleeder as it was 8mm but smaller where the previous owner had obviously wrecked the heads. This thing gripped easily and just freed them as if they were new. I used a pair of mole grips to grip the larger hex of the chrome part whilst tightening the inner with a ratchet, once it was sinched up tight I just turned them both and voila, out they all came. Sheared Exhaust Manifold Stud
This piece of kit did exactly what it said it would do. All those of us that do work on classic cars know that a sheared stud is going to happen sooner or later and mine happened recently while trying to dismantle the inlet and exhaust manifolds on a 6 cylinder 2 litre Triumph originally built in 1973. I had tried all the normal methods with no success so I turned to this tool. All I can say is brilliant, within 10 minutes of first attaching the tool to the protruding stud is was out with no damage to the head or anything else. I would highly recommend this tool. Be careful though and make sure it is locked on to the stud to be removed before trying to actually remove it. I used a pair of grips to allow as strong a grip as possible with the jaws of the tool then biting firmly onto ... This piece of kit did exactly what it said it would do.
