Color is well balanced. Output is consistent and quite powerful for a unit this size. Coupled perfectly with my Lumix DMC-Z1000 in TTL mode. Bounce card is effective for small to medidum size rooms. Recycle is fast when not set to full power. Only con is that it is a bit fragile. A drop of knee heigth broke the plastic diffuser tab. I use it as a 3rd unit for backup and rear illumination or for smaller events when I don't need the "big guns". It hasn't let me down.

I looked at many flash units for my DSLR. I had experience with Vivitar, yet was not married to the idea of buying the same brand. In fact, I expected to buy a different one. For the price I believe this is simply the best flash available. Tilt and twist head. TTL as well as various auto and manual modes. I love the self-storing diffuser and bounce card. Exposure in TTL mode is very good to excellent, with problems typically caused by me asking more of the flash than it was designed to deliver. The first one I bought was for my Pentax DSLR. When I moved to Canon I did my research all over, and came to the same conclusion. I clumsily knocked the flash off the Canon and broke the foot. I immediately ordered a new one, and when it arrived I found the foot was now metal, a nice upgrade. A set of fully charged eneloop batteries usually lasts me months. If you need super fast initial charging, this isn't the flash for you. If you can wait 5-10 seconds, it will serve you well.Read full review

Pros: high capacity of flash, qualitative enough manufacturing. A sliding curtain. The head rotates in all conceivable and not the conceivable parties. Mode ADI for my chamber Sony. Cons: almost at once the cover of a compartment of batteries was broke off. Now it isn't fixed on the case, but fixed on a place well. Light covering has the form strongly stretched form. If to remove indoors close the photo center is across lit more brightly. The curtain corrects it. Other Thoughts:. It is my first tested flash, to compare to me there is nothing. But I am very happy. It is many times better to regular flash of mine Sony A350. I have been very surprised by capacity if to flash directly in a hand heat and if to a black paper there is a smoke)) is felt. As very much time mode ADI-TTL. Pictures are shined almost always ideally, errors aren't present, pictures aren't lit and not the darkRead full review
