This phone has a 5 inch screen and may or may not have two sim slots. if it has one slot it will still have the software as if it did. It is slim with a decent ram and storage for the price but is only a 3g phone. At least one of the lesser brands will provide you with and android based 4G phone with similar specs for less than £70. Unless you are a particular fan of windows you would be best steered away from this phone. if you chose it you should look for a very good price. The reason is that the whole Microsoft/Nokia project has fallen apart. This matters because if you hope to have access to a good range of apps you will hit a minefield. Firstly out of the box you will find that already some apps have been abandoned and will not work. You may take the view that the free upgrade to windows 10 will sort this problem out but in fact it depends what apps you want to keep since you will lose some in the upgrade. Android emulators do not really work. If like me you expected at least to have a sensible skype phone with a front (and back) facing camera you will find it will not work on windows 8.1 at all nor with the upgrade.Eventually if you take the upgrade option you will probably find that you need to join the windows insider program to get further upgrades by agreeing effectively to be a tester. I love the phone. I paid a good low price for an interesting phone and knew roughly what i was getting into. Upgrading and faffing will take days not hours and if you hate all that just get a cheap android. This phone has character in spades but I repeat buy it cheap if you like that sort of thing. Avoid if you want it to just workRead full review

It is a 3G windows phone first marketed in 2014 so is hardly cutting edge. Battery life isn't great, but it has a reasonably large screen and is pretty easy to operate. Hence an ideal starter smart phone for non-tech partner who wanted one. It's a phone I know well so I could hopefully help her out. She's happy with it so I'm happy.

Windows phones work seamlessly with Windows 10 - so take a photo with your 535 phone and it's available on your laptop, desktop and tablet via Windows Cloud. Same applies to Outlook messaging. The 535 is a very affordable/budget phone, but provides a good sized screen, has good battery life and though made to a budget, it feels and performs like a phone in a higher price bracket. Only down side is that Microsoft chose not to offer a 'zoom' facility to the camera and the images taken are fine, but if quality (large file sizes) are important, then you should be looking for a higher spec than the 535. The Windows App store has lots to offer and is making up ground against other platforms. It's a good phone for not a lot of money - I like mine - a lot.

As far as modern mobile phones go, this is a very practical and easy to use mobile phone. It runs on the windows operating system (windows 8.1). It is very easy to set up and use. My only small niggle is that it is a single sim model but the software on this phone seems to be for the dual sim model, so a bit confusing to start with. Overall a very good buy, and one that I hope will last me for years to come.

Good phone. 3G really quick on Internet. Easy to use. Self explained. Pictures are nice. Only down side: You won't be to able to download the android apps, just the window ones and they are not as good.
