I had planned to use this product in conjunction with a headset adapter I had designed to allow it's use with amateur radio equipment. Unfortunately, so far the need to tie several grounds from the radio to one point on the mating jack is causing a serious ground loop problem manifested as a steady 60 cycle hum on the transmitted and received signal. Until this problem is solved, I have had to suspend use of this headset. BTW the headset works great with certain Yaesu handi talkies such as the VX-7. You still have to hold the radio to use the PTT switch but the audio is fine. Continuing to work on the problem with adapting it to other radios.
