Overall great, however it only has USB 3.0 so if you want to load windows you need experience mounting and injecting 3.0 drivers into the boot and install wim files. There's tools and videos out there now, but mine never worked, despite multiple days attempting. I did a work-around by swapping the SSD HD and starting windows installation on another PC, once the OS was loaded and it went down for a reboot, shut it down and put the HD back in the NUC. Installation went great. (FYI, i had "failed" 3.0 drivers already injected in this image).

It worked great right out of the box , Win 10 Pro 2TB with 2gb ram , I up graded to 8gb of ram and it works even better . I hooked it to my big screen TV installed all my good programs and its just what I needed . My Kodi works great just like being in the theater with my Pioneer sound system . For the money you can't go wrong , its just as fast as my HP Quad core and a little more . Just be sure to reset your security settings in Win 10 and you will be happy .

So I have a few options to use to watch media such as a chromecast, blu ray player and firestick. They all have thier good points, but I was looking for something simpler that could cover all my bases as well as full desktop computing. Well this foots the bill. I like that I can play you tube, search the web use sling TV, pandora and spotify. I bought a wireless keyboard/mouse combo. Now I can do it all from my recliner. Only have to plug in the power supply and an HDMI cable and I'm ready to go. Very portable too. KODI is good, but maybe too complicated for everyone. I may buy another one in the future as for the price i can use it on a couple TV's. Definitely recommend this for media PC. I put off getting a windows PC for a few years. Didn't like windows 8. Now I'm glad I waited.

The Intel - NUC is plenty of capacity for the develpment of PC based data acquistion stations and networking The small size makes it very easy to fit in already in a location with issues of avaiilable space it has been the most cost effective acquistion for our facilty in years
