    Great, hard to find latch. Good value.

    This type of latch was unavailable at any of my local hardware/home improvement stores. The unit seems to be of very good quality, exceeding what one might expect for the price. Installation was easy with a few careful measurements. The only problem that I had was that the adjustment is a bit "too" easy and can easily spin out of adjustment. A little super glue on the threads, however, solved that problem. Locktite would also work.

    Subtlety deceptive.

    A subtlety deceptive promotion. The actual product is much smaller than the picture implies. It’s just slightly larger than a man’s thumb. The description does give the dimensions, but in millimeters only, not inches. Also, One of the reasons I purchased this item was the bold USA logo in the corner of the picture, but the item was actually made in China not the US. That’s deceptive!

    Smaller than expected

    Smaller than expected but will work just fine on the magnetic freezer door as a fail-safe safety latch. We had a ham "move" inside the freezer and open the door part way. The child proof latch saved it from opening all the way and letting the food thaw. That child-proof latch allowed it to be open about a 1/2" but these new latches will prevent that. The latches were missing a nut to lock the adjustment, I painted the threads with nail polish to make it harder to come out of adjustment. It would have been 5 stars if it had the lock nuts.

    Table help.

    They do what I wanted them for. I am using mine to keep the table sides tight. I used to get a little gap where you pull the table apart to add the leaf when needed. I put one on each side under the table. Works great.
