Do NOT buy for verizon!! This box is advertised as working with Verizon Fios but it absolutely will not. You have to rent the box from Verizon or this is just a dud you hang off your tv with zero incoming signal. Don't make my mistake.

The good news it worked. The bad news is that it only had limited channels. I kept it because it had a couple of channels that I wanted for a backup tv. Otherwise i will not buy again.

Couldn't get it to work. Called my cable provider to activate. They told me that the serial number wasn't in the system. Was probably a box that was never properly returned, so they deactivated the serial number.

I purchased this to have the ability to see the channel directory. It worked well at first, however the time was wrong on the channel guide. Must have been a West Coast version as was 2 hours ahead. Finally it stopped working. I found out that these boxes have a id number which in order to work properly must be registered by Comcast. Comcast routinely scans the id numbers and if not registered they are neutralized. Comcast does not sell these, and Comcast retains the ownership of these. If you fail to return the ones on loan you will be billed. More than likely these are boxes not returned. I would not buy one again since all you wind up with is an expensive remote.
Per Comcast you not suppose to sell this item. If you have an account with Comcast these are free of charge but you have to pay a fee/month for each extra TV. I you buy this online Comcast wont activate it for you. Do not buy any Comcast TV boxes.
