it was a good movie thought it could have been a lot better. The strange 'environmental' villain ending made no sense, the comic book rationale was better. The whole '50%' rule was outright stupid. how is 50% of 10X on one planet better than 50% of 1/2X on the other? Also it's a very half-finished movie. But 3D makes everything better to watch, the effects were good and even the post production 3d has been steadily improving so it almost starts to feel like full 3d. The only thing I miss in the 3d is that it's still sort of 'letterbox 3d' like all the Disney/Sony style 3d, not the 'right in front of you 3d' like the 3d from the 50's and 60's. That seems to be a director issue, the directory has to plan and design for that up front, but since they plan to show 2d more than 3d, they don't put that much effort. And I think the current technology used to make 3d is intentionally doing more of a 'letterbox' 3d effect rather than bring the action to the viewers. Also, all the streaming services have stopped streaming 3d so getting the blu ray is the only way to watch it with the theater like experience. The acting was OK except for two or three cases - there was so much going on, so many characters that each seemed to 'need to have some screen time' that everyone felt a bit shallow, not enough lines to come to life fully, and Dr. Strange and Thor both seemed like very slightly out-of-character caricatures of the solo movie or comic versions. But it was at least a good 'spectacle' and never once did the action let down enough slow the general enjoyment of the movie. It was not nearly one of the best of the marvel movies but it was a lot of fun.Read full review

Well-worth getting and viewing in 3D. Despite the decline in popularity here in the US, Marvel consistently does a spectacular job with its 3D conversions and Avengers Infinity War is no exception. The movie itself is great, however, the special features continue to be minimal and perfunctory. I have not yet listened to the director's commentary, although i have heard it is quite good.

If you’re a fan of The Marvel Universe like I am then you will love Avengers Part 3: Infinity War. It’s just as great as The Avengers Part 1 & The Avengers Part 2: Age Of Ultron & if you have a 3D tv like I do then this is a must buy movie in 3D because the 3D is so amazing. I can’t wait for 2019 for the 4th installment The untitled Avengers movie & it will also be in 3D. WOOOOHOOOO!!!!!!!!!!

I wouldn't say better than expected. It was really good, and I was happy that I was actually able to find a 3d Blu Ray copy. My one and only issue, was that it arrived with a chunk broken off at the upper right corner. I didn't bother with asking to exchange it for an unbroken one, because the discs were in perfect shape, and frankly, I wanted to watch it right away. Other than the broken case, it's excellent
