Polymer skids are a good value and serve a purpose.
We are doing snow removal for neighborhood clients. Leaving white marks all over a nice driveway or sidewalk from steel skids is not good for business. These polymer skids should prevent that. They were a perfect fit on the Troy-Bilt 26” Storm snow blower. I bought longer bolts because these are thicker than the stamped steel original skids by 1/4”. I’m pretty sure they won’t last as long as the original skids, but that is not the point. These are lighter, smoother, and will not leave marks on the concrete. Nice Skid plates!
Nice Skid plates, great upgrade on my 24" snowblower. Best to use 3 or 4 of the larger fender washers on each bolt - you will need longer bolts to do this.
