I could hear broken plastic rattling inside as well. Doing more research the 315 is not the correct model remote for the 6130 receiver. If you have a 6130 receiver don't buy this remote. The 283 or 284 remote are for this model. Either the remote is incorrect for my model receiver or was broken based on the plastic rattling inside.
