Received adapter and it easily into Windows 10. I used a USB extension on my laptop so I could avoid it sticking out of the sides of my laptop and taped to the back of my laptop display so it would be out of the way. Not sure if it's the adapter or not but I noticed my laptop getting extraordinarily hot while the adapter is plugged in. Of course, if you aren't going to be using the adapter I don't believe you should be too concerned. The speed of my internet has picked up although I have ups and downs as far as that goes and am not sure whether it's the ISP, Cable Modem, the WiFi Adapter or a combination of 2 or more things. For the price, I'd say it's definitely worth trying, Good Luck!

The signal range on both 2.4GHz is better than the 5 GHz, but the 5 GHz is not that much faster download so I suggest to stick with the 2.4GHz. Installation was easy with the included mini CD. If you dont have a CD rom, I suggest borrowing someone PC and copy it on to a USB stick and installed driver that way.

Bought 2 of them to upgrade my wireless speed. Works great. Only drawback it the installation disk is small. If you have a computer where you just insert the disk instead of a drawer that pops out, you can't use the install disk. I had to copy the disk to a thumb drive on my laptop to install drivers on touchscreen desktop.

I cannot vouch for the quality or usefulness of this product. It required installation of drivers on the accompanying disk. The laptop I intended to use it for does not have a CD drive and there was nowhere provided to download the required driver.
