This "fix" was instituted because of a class action law suit brought by thousands of this brand's owner's refrigerators icing up due to a clogged drain of another design. I was unfortunate in that my refrigerator clogged after the lawsuit was settled. It took me about 3 hours to install this fix and at my regular hourly rate is a $450 fix.
