About this product

Product Information

With cutting-edge technology, the Nissin Speedlite Di466 TTL auto exposure flash delivers bright pictures. With a 14 mm to 70 mm zoom range, you can widen or narrow the field of illumination of this Nissin flash for Canon and Nikon cameras according to your requirement. The bounce and swivel adjustment of this TTL auto exposure flash helps soften the light by reflecting it off walls, ceilings, and reflectors. You can avoid the red-eye problem by using this Nissin flash for Canon and Nikon cameras that produces a small beam for portrait shots that are clicked at short distance. The Nissin Speedlite Di466 when not in use for 5 minutes automatically switches off to the sleep mode, thereby saving power. All in all, this Nissin flash for Canon and Nikon cameras makes for a great addition to your camera kit.

If we compare canon native flash then option “flash exp. compensation” and “E-TTL II” will be active before the shutter was half pass. In the case of Nissin Di466 even the shutter was half pass camera flash menu may be inactive. So I half-press shutter button before enter menu “Flash control- External flash function setting”. After that “flash exp. compensation” and “E-TTL II (you can choose between [Evaluative] and [Average]) ” sometimes occur active. But in the same situation (i.e. shutter was half pass) “flash exp. compensation” and “E-TTL II” may occur inactive or not displayed at all (in this case you can hear sound of motors in flash as the camera zoomed). So there is instability in communication between Canon 500D (firmware version is 1.1.1) and Nissin Di466. I tested it with my ...
