MAXX Maybe...
I bought these sway bar end links for a 2004 Toyota Tundra stock height. I have a stock OE sway bar that was pretty mushy in the turns. I replaced the OE rubber bushings with Energy Polyurethane bushings which DID improve the ride and handling, but I felt there was still room for improvement. I researched sway bars and found the Hellwig 7697 and read the reviews. I read that the Hellwig would/could punish stock sway bar end links and decided to buy these MAXX Suspension end links. I thought they were 1 piece milled out of a bar, but they are a threaded bolt sleeved in a metal tube(collar). The bolt heat is shallow as it BARELY clears the A arm after it's mounted. I mixed the bushings feeling the conical PU bushings were a little sketchy as they didn't fit into the bars holes, where as the ... These MAXX end links do look strong, being 4130 Cr-Mo. It feels more planted and hold's in the turns tighter. The straight ride feels tighter and handles little bumps better. Maybe a bit more effort to turn the wheel for turns but feels solid. It should really come this way from the factory. I hope it doesn't somehow wear the front tires out faster. All and all - if you live/drive in hilly locations where the street/roads have unbanked turns you will benefit from the handling of this combo, but at $225 for the bar + the $113.00 for these links (*too expensive) + installation - you may want to tough it out and save your $ as the improvement is only about 40% better than the set up which I had. By the way - the OE stock Tundra bar is HOLLOW and weighs about 25lbs.The Hellwig is SOLID 4140 Cr-Mo and weighs about 35lbs.
