works great as local-netowork-only simple switch (i.e. not using their server for internet control)
I use it as a simple timed switch. On and off times. Can be set for sunrise and sunset at local location. Works just fine as non-external server device (i.e. use on local network with phone app to set). To use as local-only, in the app got to account setup and then opt out of setting up account...and there you have it.
