    Almost ambergris, but no sillage

    Great perfume, poor performance. This is a very natural, nice smelling scent. I have been searching for the ambergris scent. To be honest, I don't think I have ever smelled real ambergris. But I have smelled good accords and that is what this one is, I have no idea if there is real ambergris in this. There is almost no sillage but it lasts for longer than most perfumes. As to how to describe the scent, it is a musky oceanic scent that is hard to describe, but think of sun warmed skin with the hint of seabreeze in the air. No seaweed or funky fish odor. If you have never smelled ambergris, it is hard to describe, but think of a very light amber with musk and a slight marine smell. Not the fake, melon like sea scents that pass for aquatic but the actual scent of the ocean air, minus ...
