I’m a shop fitting joiner with 40+ years experience & decided to refurbish my staircase. I made the rest of the components myself - ie handrails, stringers, newels, cappings etc but decided to purchase the treads because of the risk of ‘cupping’. I’m glad I did, they’re perfect, no cracks, no knots, no filler, 2 coats of hard wax oil, all pre finished & ready to cut to size & install. Thank you
