    Better than nothing?

    The material used to make these covers is not the traditional soft rubber, its polyester....or some other kind of low quality material. Inside the cover, is a soft rubber, the outside is the cheap stuff, and there sown together. The end off the sown seems are visible at the ends of either side. The quality and longevity is very low and holding a strong grip is questionable. Bar tape would be a better option than these......     exactly what I was looking for

    The skins seem to work well. I wanted a little padding and insulation over my metal bar-ends and that's what lizard skins do. It's a tight fit, though that's a good thing. Spray the bars and inside the skins with window cleaner, slide them on..fast, adjust for fit, and you're done. Works great.
