20 years and still going strong
You can't find a more dependable watch in my opinion. My Seamaster has been through 20 years of extreme use daily and still functions flawlessly. 5000 scuba dives as a dive resort instructor. Slammed into and scraped across cast iron boat engines during mechanical repairs worn on deep cave dives and blue hole dives many deep wall dives to 275-400 ft. and on and on as my daily wearer and still running strong. Only issue after the first 17 years was a worn out band and a scratched and faded bezel insert both easily replaced. Best watch I have ever owned and I have owned and still own many great watches but none compare to the hard use longevity I have gotten out of my trusted Seamaster. Great value in a watch right now. Well worth it and with a 7750 based movement future services will be much less than current co-axial movements.
