    DSL-2890AL

    This may not be the latest model in the DLink range but it is solid reliable tech. I've had other brands but DLink is the most stable. Wireless range on this unit is great and stable. The unit has been up and running since day one. I run online storage, an xbox a smart TV printers and tablets across this unit without any problems. Above all its SIMPLE to setup and use.

    future-proofed

    I've had my eye on this modem-router for a while now and luckily I held back until Device Deal offered it at a much cheaper price than other sellers. It performs it's function well, along with a suit of other goodies I will likely not use. Or at least not yet. The AC channel is not yet useful to me with my ageing but still operational gadgets. I know it's just a matter of time. You can register the device with mydlink which makes its admin dashboard accessible from anywhere. The best thing about it is it's the same colour and shape as my Amazon Echo so side by side, the cousins complement each other.

    Solid, yet light.

    Great design. Easy to set up, with phone support. Does everything it says it does. I use OS X and OS products and so far, no issues. Most of my previous router/modems have been so lightweight that the often heavy cables make them hard to position or secure. This unit, is light, but because of its pillar design seems easier to orient on my spot for this item.
