There are no instructions for connecting the handle and cutter to the unit, and the knife sharpener didn't work. I had to hold up an 825g can while the lid was cut, and the cutter does work well. But I bought this opener because my wrists and fingers are weak so it is not entirely satisfactory for me. Smaller cans did not need to be held up. I would still recommend this unit.
