    Worth the money

I bought this torque wrench for personal use on projects around the house. It works perfect and I would recommend it to others as a worthwhile buy. The only thing I wish was improved on the wrench is the size and depth of the numbers when setting it. If the numbers were a little larger and clearer this would be a seriously good wrench.

  • Top critical review

Needs to be broken in and is sensitive.

I haven't had a chance to use the two larger of these but I can tell you that the smallest one has a few flaws. The handle dial does not match up with the scribed lines for the torque measurements so you can be off by +/_5 inch pounds. Also, the "click" that supposedly notifies you that you have reached the prescribed torque is barely noticeable to the point that I over-tightened a bolt on a carbon frame bicycle. Thankfully it did not do anything but strip the bolt. If you're not accustomed to using torque wrenches and their nuances, these are probably not for you.

  • Great tool but needs some fine tuning

Great tool but the dial is all messed up. To get 50 foot pounds it has to be set on 55 foot pounds the dial and numbers don't match or line up. Despite this issue I finished my engine rebuild and have a great tool for future projects.

  • Better than expected.

Got this one as a spare at the house for occasional use. Was really surprised how the well it works for a less expensive tool. Very pleased and would buy again.

  • Horrible right off the bat

I took the piece of garbage out of the package, turned the knob in and out a couple times like you're supposed to and set it at 100 for some lug nuts. Proceeded to tighten to over 100 without a click. Odd. Turned it to 50 and hit the same nut. Still no click. Weird. Set to 20 and tried again. No click. I guess it's just a fancy looking breaker bar now. Don't waste your money.
