About this product

Product Information

Get your acoustic or electric guitar in tune with this Snark multi-instrument chromatic tuner. This tuner uses a durable pinching clamp to attach to the instrument. At just 0.73 pounds, it is lightweight enough to keep on the instrument through long sets or while dancing on stage. Made of red plastic, the tuner's clamp has padding for a flexible fit around the instrument. It uses a computerized chip for accurate tuning, and the 360-degree high-definition display offers ease of use.

I wanted the Snark the uses the CR2032 battery, NOT the rechargeable type that I got. Sellers listing SHOWS the tuner with the battery type- but I didn't get what I wanted. I kept it because it's a pain to return things for me. I would never order again.

      My Snark 2 Review

I purchased this Snark 2 for tuning a Duesenberg Mike Campbell II guitar that is still on layaway in Pittsburgh. I have used it on a number of other guitars, Gibsons, Fenders, PRS, etc. and it works perfectly on all of them. Unsure how well it works on other instruments though. I own 5 or 6 of the Snarks and I am satisfied with all of them. They are strong, well built tuners and are as easy to use as pushing a button. I would say these Snarks are one of the best tuners on the market fro the money. Why guess that your guitar is in tune when for under $15 you will know it is. Battery life is good as long as you don't forget to turn it off after tuning your instrument. It may not be perfect but for people demanding that high of a degree of precision there are tuners that cost upwards ...

      Not all alike

I have two other super tights, they just say Snark on the top and have a yellow button. And when your in tune a blue bar lights up by itself. If you see other colors, you're flat or sharp. On this model, the center bar would never light by itself, there were always red bars or yellow bars on either side, that wouldn't go away. Maybe it's too sensitive. But it was cheap enough It wasn't worth the bother to return it.

    • It's a SNARK!

Super Tight - not so much. Quicker than my blue one - definitely not - more precise than previous versions - NOPE, I'm all in on the Blue and Black versions - especially the Blue one, the Blue and Back ones are more precise, they are also just as tight and jam packed with features. The MAIN FEATURE of the RED SNARK pictured here is the easy to read user interface - that's it. Do I use it - heck yeah!

    • Excellent! Precision Tuner!

Costs about five bucks more than the average, humdrum tuner, and it is well worth every penny! I've found it to be 'PITCH PERFECT,' literally! My highest recommendation. 5 ENTHUSIASTIC STARS in every regard. This is the easist to use and most precise tuner, of its type, that I have ever used.

    • Great value Snark Tuner

My instrument is trombone. There are many tuners on the market, but this is about the least expensive you will find and works absolutely great. Accurate and fast. The display is bright and easy to read. The clamp is good and gentle. Comes with battery included. It shuts itself off after a few minutes of non-use. Recommended.
