The Crowd Roars 1932
The Crowd Roars is a Cagney film with a difference. There are no 'tough guy' or gangster influences or the hilarity involved in films like 'The Bride Came C.O.D.'. The Crowd Roars is a sport themed film focussing upon the turmoil of family and personal relationships buckling under the strain of Cagney's character striving to retain the respect he has gained from his career success as a race car driver. Not one of Cagney's classic films, but a good excersize in family values and relationship issues.The Crowd Roars is a Cagney film with a difference.
