Likes: Clips on to clothing while you're mobil. Touch Screen is easy to navigate. The apple ear buds are great sounding. Holds a ton of songs. Perfect if you just want a way to listen to all your songs, and go about your business. Dislikes: I have to connect the iPod to another laptop instead of my ipad in order to sync my music from iTunes. The earbuds sound great, but hurt the inside of my ears after about 20 min. Overall, I'm happy that I purchased the item and enjoy listening to my music, whether I am just lounging in my chair, or doing tasks outside.

Ipod nano works fine. I bought for $75 I do not feel i got my moneys worth. Battery life is only good for about 4-6 hours. Very disappointed about battery life.

With the announcement of the new Apple TV, and now the release of the drastically revised iPod Nano, it would appear that Apple is in the process of re-evaluating its product line and re-tooling the entries to match what it perceives to be the needs of the consumer. With the Apple TV, they have correctly, I believe, simplified the complexity of the original offering, removed any notion of storage, which tended to confuse the average user, and prepared it for an app driven iOS future. They claimed these changes resulted from a close look at the usage of the current Apple TV, and that they made the changes they felt were needed to more closely match what was desired. The Nano, I believe, follows the same path. I have an iPhone and and the new Nano. I also have the previous generation Nano. I tend to agree with Apple: I never the older Nano once to watch a video. I never used the contacts, the calendar, nor did I play a game on the Nano. I bought it for jogging, I only used it for jogging. All those things removed from the new Nano I currently do on my iPhone. These removed features were worthless to me and will not be missed. But the Nano did do exactly what I wanted it to do: become smaller, and be easier to use. Though I am getting used to a virtual pause button vs. a physical button on the older model, I find the new Nano to sound a little better and is less intrusive during running. Apple has apparently moved away from the "same feature set, different design" view and has moved to "what's best for the intended usage?" model. They now have a mature line of music players, each with a clear and intended purpose. The Classic is for those who wish to carry their entire music collection with them. The Touch is the top of the line universal player and application machine. Not intended for exercise, but rather for those who don't have an iPhone but want its best features. The iPhone, a Touch with a phone built in. Same positioning as the Touch, but replaces your phone if you are in the market for a phone. The Shuffle: the low cost entry point into the Apple ecosystem. Probably the only way Apple could offer any product under $100. With its small storage, and lack of screen, it appears to be essentially a gateway device for some to enter the Apple world. And finally the Nano. Not the universal player anymore. Not the smaller iPod Classic, like its predecessors were. The Nano seems to be targeted to the highly mobile exercise crowd. The Nano is really only good for playing music, which, along with the Shuffle, make it the only "pure" iPod left. If you want a music player, and you want more than 2GB or storage, but you don't need apps or video or games because all you want to do is listen to music, than the Nano seems ideal. It fails when we try to make it something is clearly not intended to be. And for those who grieve at the loss of the features, I am sure Apple's answer is that "you really want a Touch." They're right, too. The days of the Nano needing to be a stripped down Touch or Classic vanished the day the Touch was released. So, though not perfect, I think the design and intended use of the Nano fits in nicely into the Apple music player offerings.Read full review
This is the 3rd IPod Nano 6th Generation I own. I love it. Great for listening to the radio, or your own tunes. It holds your photos, podcasts, and even tracks your steps by using the Nike App. It also has some cool watch faces to show off your stylish watch. Best iPod Apple product for the price!!!

It is small, stores thousands of songs, photos, audio books, and has a built in FM radio. It’ll count your steps, you can see the screen in sunlight or in dark, and the touch screen is perfect. You can clip it on your belt, you can even drop it (but not in water), and it keeps on going. This is the best music player ever make....and Apple management discontinued it! Stupid, stupid, stupid! If you can find one, get it. You might have to replace the internal battery, but fortunately they are still easily available on eBay.

Ever wondered what an ipod shuffle with a screen would look like? Well, here's one for you. Apple has taken the word "nano" very literally and has created the smallest nano ever. This is basically the shuffle with a touch screen. The sound quality is good as usual, but the controls are a little small for my taste. It's pretty sleek, but lacks some of the cool features that the previous nano had like the camera. Overall, nice design - but feels like they took a step back.
Bought this for the FM feature for work, so I can save on buying batteries. Come find out....though the specs state 24hr battery; apparently it's only for play back feature. I have 2 of these and they each only last 3-3.5 hrs in radio mode. Considering picking up a 3rd one to last me for a whole day at work.

Just lost my ipod nano 5th gen to a dumbbell at the gym, so I wanted a find a way where the ipod wouldn't slip out of my pockets while I worked out. There was the armband method, but I just never became a fan of those; plus there were certain features to the nano 5th gen that I rarely, if ever, used (like the camera). So I decided to get the nano 6th gen since it is even smaller than its predecessor and has a clip that can secure it on your being so that it can never be claimed by another dumbbell ever again. Sure there is no more camera, but there are features that I use much more and are more important to my demands. The clip is an excellent feature for those that aren't fans of the armband or having their ipod shuffle around in (and in my case out of) their pockets. You also have a touch screen features which makes it very convenient to go through your music rather than using that inconvenient touch wheel which the 5th gen nano featured. Then there is the battery life which is excellent and will last you plenty of time in between charges. With the new update to 1.1, now the power button will turn off and lock the ipod nano. I got this slightly used and it was half the price that I would have paid if I bought it new. I highly recommend the ipod nano 6th gen.Read full review
I like to clip my music on while I walk. This lets me do that great. i like that I can turn the screen so when I clip and unclip, I don't accidentally the forward or reverse buttons - easy to do. The sound is wonderful. My complaint is as others talk about not being able to shut it all the way off to conserve battery. That being said, even not being used, it keeps a charge ok. I like the small nano of days gone by but won't put it on my arm, so carrying abilities mean holding or in a pocket.
