This is how all string trees should be made!
It really does set the standard. It's light, the screws are a good size and don't strip when being tightened, does the job perfectly, and looks great. My only gripe is the price is high. So is the quality and that's very clear from the second it comes out of the package, and it's made in the USA. While I'd prefer it to be Canadian made it sure beats the string tree I bought from China with the screw that broke in half prompting me to buy this and forever leaving a hunk of metal in one of my favorite basses in the world. The lesson here is it's better to go for quality stuff. I've used all kinds of no-name, cheap stuff, and a lot of the time it works just fine. When it goes wrong though you're left with a hunk of metal stuck somewhere and buying the quality item anyway.It really does set the standard. Neat String Tree
Very cool product! It keeps the tension more even for all 4 strings and improves the tuning stability with a tremolo bridge. I recommend this product to anyone with a trem system on their bass or if you just want more even string tension with a fixed bridge. I also think it looks really neat!
