    A great tremolo solution for those who don't wish to drill holes and irreparably modify their guitar

    This Duesenburg Les Trem II is, to me, a good quality product and is a great solution to retrofitting a tremolo system to my Yamaha SA2200. On the SA2200 it did require for me to make a couple of special shim washers to provide solid contact between the existing recessed guitar inserts being about 1mm below the wood surface and the Les Trem unit. A minor job but once that was done it works perfectly with no other changes to the bridge or drilling holes in my fabulous guitar. However I would only recommend this for normal - moderate trem effects as over use may possibly loosen or dislodge the guitars tail piece mounting inserts. The fitted unit also seems to be OK in the standard Yamaha hard case as well only pressing lightly on the lid.

    Fun and easy to install!

    It's a well-built piece of hardware. Works great on my Carvin SH445. I installed it along with a roller bridge and the tuning stability is excellent. Since I didn't want to drill any holes in the instrument, the only other alternative I could see would have been a Bigsby paired with a Vibramate which would have cost me twice as much.

    Do NOT buy a Bigsby!

    An ingenious design, ridiculously simple non invasive installation and super flexibility make this my hands down choice for a Les Paul tremolo system. I installed one on my Epiphone 1955 Les Paul Custom and was super impressed on all points. It provides a naturally fluid feel, surprisingly good tuning stability and the arm is very adjustable. It's not a Floyd Rose so insane whammy-ing and deep dive bombing are off on the menu. Just put some lube in the nut slots and bridge saddles and you're good to go for a soulful and liquid vibrato on notes and chords. I was so impressed that I immediately ordered another for my Epiphone LP Custom Pro. This vibrato is well designed, well constructed and well worth the $119.98 I paid for it. Do NOT buy a Bigsby!

    Innovative design makes it easy to install!

    For less than a bigsby tremolo, you can easily install this item in a half hour or less and for a lot less cost! So far it has performed admirably!

    Easy to install, beautiful gold tone, and offers the player perfect control.

    Too easy to install. No spacers needed to install on my Epiphone ES 339 made in Ch...a. It has a beautiful gold tone finish. I say buy it without any reservations.
