The youthful Stone is known for her unique renditions of soul and R&B classics, but has also emerged as a skillful songwriter. She has collaborated on songs with other artists as diverse as Betty Wright, Portishead's Beth Gibbons, and the Roots. The MIND, BODY & SOUL SESSIONS contains performances by Stone of hits from both of her multi-platinum albums, THE SOUL SESSIONS and MIND, BODY & SOUL--including her singles "You Had Me," "Super Duper Love," and "Fell in Love With a Boy," a re-working of a song by fellow hipsters the White Stripes. The MIND, BODY & SOUL SESSIONS allows fans to get close to Stone at her best, in a soulful live performance in a special setting.

    Full of mind body and soul

    My sister gave me this CD when it came out,so naturally when I spotted this incredable deal I bought it. I'm not sorry in the least this is a great performance of a musician in her early years filmed fantastic and captures the magic that is and will always be Joss Stone get it it's worth every penny!!

    Great performance

    Now, I love this artist because, well, I prefer to listen to and watch female singers and musicians in general. I find them much more attractive both and voice and presentation. I love her genre of music; the blues, in this case. She had songs out at a young age, and at the time, it was unusual for young women to do soul, blues or rock. I was the same age as her when she made her debut, and have seen all of her videos and saw her grow up. Unlike Britney, who was popular when I was a kid, and superseded musical or vocal talent, to become just famous for being famous. Britney was also much older than me, and I never felt like she was on the same level of a normal person, as the news would make whole stories about how she spends a ton of money at Starbucks.
