    Great little filter

    Penn plax has been around since the 70’s I think. They’re an excellent company and they make quality products. This filter is perfect for your nano tank. I use mine in a 2.5g cookie jar. It’s small and hides easily behind a plant. It’s a strong filter which keeps my water crystal clear and odorless. It’s easy to change the cartridge. I will continue using this quality product as it does what it should, very well.

    EXCELLENT PENN PLAX FILTERS FOR BETTA TANKS

    These little filters work very well in the Penn Plax filters. Sometimes they can be reused by rinsing them in hot water, but generally they're priced low enough that it's better to just order more.

    Great for 1, 2 gallon tanks or large goldfish bowls.

    Have been using this filter type for years. VERY GOOD for small aquariumsize or breeding tanks. Do not put all the way to bottom --- touching gravel or it will clog with gravel. Best to make small "bowl shaped" area in front of filter for waste to accumulate. Allows filter to do better job.

    Crystal clear water

    I have a small 2-gal fish tank that was always cloudy. The filter on the back of the tank does not clean this small tank. After using the small world filter cartridge, the water is crystal clear. This filter has been in the tank for over four weeks. I now have a few extra cartridges! I really don't use the back filter anymore. This cartridge does the trick cleaning the water!

    Wish it was still made

    This is the filter I have in my very small tank for my one fish. And I like the size and simplicity of it. I’m sad that penn plax discontinued making it; so I can’t buy it at the store anymors.
