Excellent sound quality, the but is that surround is very weak. Find other titles with better mixing, boo to Columbia.

This is a wonderful recording of one of Bob Dylan's best releases. The sound quality is extremely good, especially when making a direct comparison with the CD. I highly recommend this SACD to anyone who doesn't hate Dylan and who has SACD playback capability. I also strongly recommend the SACD of Dylan's Blonde on Blonde.
Dylan still produces the same type of excitement in all his releases and this is another home run! I have a large Dylan collection form the 60s and 70s on LP, I think it is time to move to a dylan CD collection! Great Album Dylan hasnt lost a lick! Enjoy!
Sounds great, 5.1 mix is very effective.

I was not always a Bob Dylan fan, but have grown to like his best albums, this easily being one of them. Whether you like Bob Dylan or not, you must have his three best, and most accessible, albums: this one, Highway 61 Revisited, and Blonde on Blonde. There is a good reason why there on every top 100 list you ever see, it's because they are great.
i never thought i would find a refridgarater magnet like this one.Super fast upon receving it.The late great Barbra Eden never looked so good.I wish i could find more just like this one.Absolutly fantastic magnet.
I can explain the feeling when you listen to this work. Its just guitars, microphones and recording tape. Its simple. The emotions are just there exposed, highlighted, like he's singing to you about his pain and anger. And with the SACD of this version - like he's right THERE!
Found no depth or richness that sacd is known for sounds dull...I hv the original cd and it is sweet, alive, and bright in comparison. Can't understand what happened since the best engineers on the planet did the remix. Love the music however, some of Bobby Zimmerman's best.
