      brass set-up gages work great

      They are OK. Not great...just OK

      What I received and what was in the picture do NOT look alike. The ones I received came in a ripped plastic "case" (the plastic bag most Whiteside stuff comes in). The bars are unmarked (as other reviewers have noted), but mine were also a bit beat up - nicks and dings on the edges, and not at all polished like the photo. I still have to measure them to confirm, but I assume they are accurate. They will do the job, and were significantly cheaper than getting them through Rockler. However, since I only plan to buy once set during this lifetime, I would probably splurge a bit and get the "good" ones if I had to do it again.

      Whiteside Brass set up Gauges

      Glad I bought these. Very useful in setting the height of both my table saw blade and router bits, both table mounted and hand held. Saves me a lot of time over fussing with setting blades and bits using a combination square.
